Delivery Guide for Cittaneo Bathroom Products

Thank you for choosing Cittaneo for your bathroom essentials. We are committed to delivering your order safely and on time. This guide outlines our delivery process to help you prepare for and manage the receipt of your products.

Before Delivery

· Confirm Your Order Details
Please verify that your order—including size, style, finish, and any additional components such as countertops or mirrors—matches the confirmation email you received. If you notice any discrepancies, contact our support team immediately.
· Review Shipping Options
We offer several delivery options, including local delivery, curbside pickup, and international shipping. For larger or more fragile items, specialized freight services may be recommended. All relevant details will be provided during checkout.
· Prepare for Delivery
Our bathroom vanities are substantial in weight (typically 50–100 lbs) and require at least two people to handle. Please ensure clear access to the delivery location—including entryways, staircases, and elevators—and have a designated area ready for inspection upon arrival.

During Delivery

· Inspect Packaging Upon Arrival
Before signing the Proof of Delivery (POD), carefully examine the exterior of the package or pallet for any signs of damage, such as dents, tears, moisture, or broken seals. Do not accept any visibly compromised items without noting the issue on the POD.
· Document Any Issues
If you observe damage to the packaging, describe it in detail on the POD (e.g., “box dented on left side, mirror compartment affected”) and request the carrier’s signature. If the driver is unable to wait for a full inspection, note “subject to further inspection” on the POD.
· Keep Your POD Copy
Retain a signed copy of the Proof of Delivery. This document is essential for processing damage claims, returns, or replacements.

After Delivery

· Unpack with Care
Use appropriate tools to open the packaging, avoiding sharp objects near the product. We recommend wearing gloves when handling heavy or sharp-edged components.
· Inspect the Product Thoroughly
Check all parts for scratches, dents, cracks, or missing pieces—including hardware and accessories. Pay close attention to fragile items such as mirrors, marble countertops, and ceramic basins.
· Report Damage Promptly
If you discover any damage or defects, notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Please include clear photos of the issue, a copy of the POD, and your order number. We will arrange a repair or replacement at no additional cost.

Shipping Information

· Packaging Standards
All Cittaneo products are carefully wrapped with protective materials such as foam, bubble wrap, and corner guards, and are secured in durable, double-walled boxes. International shipments typically use flat-pack (RTA) packaging to minimize shipping costs and storage requirements.
· Labeling & Tracking
Each package is clearly labeled with the SKU, product name, and recipient information. Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email to monitor its progress.
· Carrier Partners
We partner with trusted carriers such as FedEx, DHL, UPS, and TNT to ensure reliable delivery. For international orders, we assist with customs clearance and will notify you if additional documentation is required.
· Shipping Timelines
· In-stock items: Dispatched within 1–2 business days.
· Local delivery: 2–5 business days.
· Domestic shipping: 3–7 business days.
· International shipping: 1–4 business days (express) or 5–10 business days (standard).
Please note that RTA products may require additional time for assembly.
· Transparent Pricing
All shipping costs, taxes, and duties are calculated and displayed at checkout. There are no hidden fees. For orders shipped using a collect account, any additional charges are the responsibility of the consignee.

International Orders

· We recommend flat-pack (RTA) vanities for international shipping due to lower freight costs and easier handling.
· Each order includes assembly instructions and all necessary hardware.
· Title and risk of loss transfer to the customer once the product is handed to the carrier.
· In case of transit damage, file a claim with the carrier within 7 days and share the claim reference with our support team for further assistance.

Backordered Items

If an item is temporarily out of stock, you will be notified during checkout with an estimated restock date. Backordered items will be shipped separately as soon as they become available, with no additional shipping charges.
